Ivo van Aart (1989) is a director of feature films, short films and (web) series.He directed 'De Kuthoer', which was released in the United Kingdom and the United States as 'The Columnist'. Recently, he made the young adult web series 'Locked Out' for broadcaster NPO3.Furthermore, he directed a trilogy for the VPRO, consisting of the drama series 'Suspicious Minds', 'Zes Dates' and 'Layla Leila'.He directed a number of short films, including the children's film 'One of the Boys' and the dance film 'Amuse'.Apart from film, he is also involved with new media and other narrative forms. For example, he made the Virtual Reality experience VPRO Peepshow for Lowlands and the Dutch Design Week.
